At The Bridge Clinic we have developed to appreciate nature as our science and success our art, which has supplied our visible presence in infertility management locally and internationally. Below is a statement of our modest strides since inception.

2009
  • Birth of over 1000 babies
  • The Bridge Clinic 10th year anniversary
  • 2008
  • Incorporation of The Bridge Clinic as a subsidiary of The Bridge Health Care group (TBHC)
  • Birth of 875 babies as at July 2008
  • 2007
  • Successful re-certification of The Bridge Clinic's Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2000 by the certifying body TUV Austria.
  • 2006
  • 500 Babies Thanksgiving Celebration. The Bridge Clinic celebrated the birth of over 500 babies born by assisted conception on the 8th of April 2006 at the Agip Recital hall MUSON Centre Onikan Lagos. It was an atmosphere of celebration as families across the country gathered in Lagos to share their experiences.
  • Successful audit and publication of treatment cycle results from 1999-2005 by the renowned international auditing firm Akintola Williams Deloitte.
  • Successful re audit of The Bridge Clinic quality management system according to ISO 9001:2000 from the certifying body TUV Austria with zero non conformance.
  • 2005
  • Successful re audit of the international certification of The Bridge Clinic quality management system according to ISO 9001:2000 from the certifying body TUV Austria.
  • 2004
  • First IVF clinic in West Africa to be awarded an ISO certification from TUV Austria.
  • Launch of the "Let it Happen Naturally (LIHN) campaign"
  • Birth of first babies (set of female twins) at The Bridge Clinic Port Harcourt.
  • Distinguished award from the Society of Obstetric and Gynaecologist of Nigeria (SOGON) in recognition of outstanding contribution in Clinical service delivery and towards the promotion of maternal health care in Nigeria.
  • 2003
  • Birth of first baby through IVF surrogacy
  • Delivery of first baby with Micro Sort selection
  • 200 babies born following treatment at The Bridge Clinic
  • Opening of The Bridge Clinic Port Harcourt
  • 2001
  • Hand over of Patient treatment to a fully Nigerian team in April
  • 2000
  • 7 treatment batches run in 2000
  • Inauguration of The Bridge Clinic Ethics Committee
  • Birth of first babies by ICSI
  • Delivery of first baby by ICSI using surgically collected sperm
  • 1999
  • Treatment of the first batch of patients by the team from King's College Hospital, London

  • Commission of the embryology laboratory by the team from King's College Hospital, London

  • Incorporation of the company and setting up of technical support with consultants from the assisted conception unit of King's College Hospital, London (KCH)
